Brigade on display at Commercial Vehicle Show at Birmingham’s NEC

As part of our mission to make roads and worksites safer we are committed to getting our products to the widest audience possible.

This means we are often on the road ourselves, travelling to shows, exhibitions and conventions to spread the Brigade word and help show fleet managers and company owners how our products can help protect their workers and vehicles.

In recent weeks we have exhibited at the CLOCS (Construction Logistics and Community Safety) annual conference at London’s Excel, the Transport Manager conference in Northern Ireland and the Van Excellence briefing at Twickenham Stadium – where we were delighted to be named a Gold Partner.

The next date in our diary is that of the Commercial Vehicle Show at the NEC in Birmingham, which runs from April 25 – 27.  Here we explore what the show is all about, its aims and the new, exciting products we will be showcasing at the event.

On the road again

The Commercial Vehicle (CV) Show has been running for several years and aims to brings together businesses and suppliers working in road freight transport, distribution and logistics. It is the largest show of its kind and one we at Brigade are proud to take part in.

We exhibit alongside vehicle manufacturers, insurers, tyre suppliers, training providers, fuel firms and dozens of other transport professionals. The show aims to keep those working in the transport industry fully briefed about new technology, product developments and service innovations to help company directors and fleet managers improve their profitability, compliance, safety and efficiency.

This year alongside the dozens of trade stands the show is hosting a Workshop zone – showcasing everything needed to keep vehicles running efficiently – and a Cool zone, specifically tailored for those who transport goods that need to be kept at low temperatures.

What’s happening on Brigade’s stand

We are excited to be launching a new system at this year’s CV show, which will help support fleet managers in their day to day operations.

Our mobile digital recording system is one of the most sought-after products we offer and we are excited to be revealing our latest innovation in this range, with the launch of a 3G programme that can be remotely accessed.

Via remote access, operators will be able to access footage captured by mobile cameras on their vehicles in real time and can even choose to live stream journeys from up to eight mounted cameras.

Having access to footage so quickly is invaluable in the event of an accident, especially in the case of refuted claims. Being able to review camera footage will also allow operators to put drivers at ease and reassure them in the case of an emergency.

Using 3G sim cards Brigade will host the new systems, allowing us to easily identify any network issues and then provide remote diagnostics to resolve them – saving our customers valuable time.

We will also be showcasing our improved Sidescan products and discussing our new leasing scheme. Come along and meet the team on stand 4J90 to find out more about our new products.

Always on hand

Alongside our new products we will be showcasing our wide range of existing vehicle safety systems, which includes radar sensors, obstacle detection, camera monitoring and reversing alarms.

For more than 40 years we have been providing innovative technology systems to help make roads and worksites safer for all, and are proud of our extensive track record of helping companies protect their fleet and staff.
