What is an M2M IoT SIM card?
Machine to Machine Internet of Things
An M2M IoT SIM card is used for sending and receiving data. They have a dedicated APN which has priority bandwidth over consumer SIMs on the network, ensuring uninterrupted connection.
An M2M IoT SIM will not throttle the bandwidth to the MDR: Bandwidth throttling is an intentional lowering of the speed that is available over an internet connection to regulate network traffic.
