Coronavirus – Will the recent outbreak impact Brigade?
The recent outbreak of the coronavirus in China has prompted many to consider the risks to their supply chains.
The source of the outbreak is the city of Wuhan in the province of Hubei, approximately 700 miles from the regions where Brigade’s factories are located. As such, most of the workers employed are local to the factories and not from Wuhan. There have been some cases detected in all other regions of mainland China as well as outbreaks in Taiwan, Korea and Japan.
Most of the cities in Hubei are subject to transport restrictions to contain the spread of the virus. Other transport restrictions apply across major cities such as Shanghai and Beijing.
