We’re looking forward to meeting both existing and potential customers at bauma 2019, the world’s leading international trade fair for the construction machinery industry, which will be held this year in Munich from April 8th – 14th. Recent cutting-edge developments in the global industry will be presented under one roof to enable visitors from all over the world to find the solutions they need for their businesses. We’ve found it an invaluable arena to draw attention to our world-beating range.
There are four categories of exhibits: construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines and construction vehicles and equipment. At the previous show in 2016, 3,425 companies presented their expertise over 605,000 square metres of space.
At bauma we will be showcasing our range of commercial vehicle safety products with all the latest updates. Our experts will be demonstrating our internationally-renowned vehicle camera systems, including Backsense® Radar OSD (On Screen Display), our new Waterproof Display, as well as unveiling Querverkehrsbeobachtung (Cross Traffic Monitoring).
We will have our Backsense® Radar on-screen display in action at our stand. This new system can now warn drivers through the monitor in the cab, providing both visual and audible alerts.
We will also be showcasing our new Waterproof Display. Recently introduced to our range of products, it works in the same way as the original Radar display but is now waterproof, so it can be used in vehicles without a cab such as site dumpers operating in all weather conditions. Its main features include:
In Germany it’s compulsory for vehicles with a length of 3.5 metres from the steering wheel to the front of the vehicle to be fitted with a Cross Traffic Monitoring system. These systems help vehicles with long bonnets or front attachments at junctions when they can’t see what is coming from the left or the right. Currently this is only affecting Germany, but it’s starting to spread out across Europe and is likely to become standard in the future. Our system will be ready for you to view at our stand – come and check it out and get prepared.
