More than 20% of Brigade Electronics’ global turnover is with OEMs. We supply line fit safety aids to many truck manufacturers and off-highway OEMs, including some of the world’s largest. We excel at providing system solutions for specialist equipment manufacturers and post line production customisation for the largest OEMs.

In Brigade’s context: An OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) such as a commercial vehicle manufacturer or a machine manufacturer, is someone who builds the chassis or complete vehicle. This also extends to smaller machinery makers for example, utility vehicles & other specialist equipment. Brigade’s OEM commercial team also supports other customer types with similar complex needs, like large bodybuilders and multi-national distributors & fleets.

OEMs operate different commercial models where volumes, values and risks are greater than the traditional aftermarket. Often requiring detailed approvals, certifications and contracts, Brigade’s OEM team work closely with our subsidiaries and many other departments across Brigade and national distributors to ensure our OEM customers get the service they need.

Brigade Electronics has been growing at ~15% p.a. and part of our approach as a multi-national company is to take our technologies to new applications in differing markets.
