Brigade Electronics is proud to be in partnership with Transaid, an organisation dedicated to transforming lives through improved transportation solutions in developing countries. As a leader in vehicle safety systems, Brigade Electronics is committed to enhancing safety standards globally, making our collaboration with Transaid a natural fit. This partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, leveraging our expertise and resources to support Transaid’s mission to save lives and enhance livelihoods through innovative transport and logistics solutions.
Empowering Communities Through Innovative Transport Solutions
Founded by Save the Children, The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), and its Patron, HRH The Princess Royal, Transaid shares over 25 years’ worth of expertise in 23 countries with partners and governments. It harnesses the power of transport to improve lives across the developing world. Transaid’s mission focuses on solving transport challenges in economically disadvantaged locations, often turning them into opportunities that improve the quality of life and economic prospects. Through initiatives such as professional driver training and health service delivery improvements, Transaid aims to reduce rural isolation, increase access to essential services like healthcare, and save lives.
A Partnership Built on Shared Goals
This partnership unites Brigade’s expertise in vehicle safety innovations with Transaid’s extensive experience in transport development programs. Together, we are dedicated to enhancing transport solutions in Sub-Saharan Africa and beyond, aiming to save lives.

SUCCESS STORY
Expanding Training Opportunities in Zambia
Generous donations of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) from industry partners, allowed Transaid to significantly expand its driver training programs across Zambia. These state-of-the-art trucks have enabled the training of a new generation of professional drivers, equipped with the skills to operate safely on the challenging roadways of Zambia. As a result, more drivers are now capable of supporting the nation’s growing needs for skilled logistics personnel, directly contributing to safer road conditions and more efficient transport networks.
This expansion not only boosts local employment but also plays a crucial role in improving road safety—an essential step towards reducing traffic-related injuries and fatalities in the region. Each new driver trained is another step forward in our mission to ensure safe and reliable transportation for all.
A Goal for Safety: Brigade’s Team for the Transaid Cup Challenge!
We had the opportunity to participate in the 2024 Transaid Cup, an organised event by Transaid.
The Transaid Cup is a charitable football tournament that gathers entities from the transport and logistics sector in the UK. The event took place in July 2024 at Ilkeston Town F. C., Derbyshire.
We look forward to participating again in 2025!
