Why Backsense® Radar On-Screen Display?

Backsense® Radar OSD enables you to integrate radar and camera detection on to a single, existing in-cab display which eliminates the need for multiple screens and reducing in-cab distraction. The system brings clarity and allows operators to access critical safety information through one trusted on-screen view.

Vehicle cabins are restricted in space and operators need to process large volumes of information in high-risk conditions. Radar OSD consolidates multiple safety technologies onto a single on-screen detection warning system – helping reduce cognitive load and supporting safer, more confident decision-making.

Radar OSD is compatible with our BS-9100 77GHz CAN Radar sensor which has a maximum detection length of up to 60 metres with a minimum programmable detection distance of 3 metres.
