The collaboration between BAI and Brigade Electronics continues: a well-established partnership between leaders in their respective fields.
BAI, has over thirty years of experience, in which, it has gone from being a small local company to becoming the reference point in Italy and one of the major players at an international level in the fitting out of fire-fighting vehicles. As its name perfectly sums up: Brescia Antincendi International. In addition to Italy and Germany, where it has a branch and has delivered well over 100 vehicles. BAI also has a strong presence in North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as in the Middle and Far East, especially China, and targets local administrations, refineries, and the Oil & Gas sector in general.
Brigade, for its part, pioneered vehicular safety in Europe, introducing the first tonal alarm for reverse gear on our continent back in 1976. Since then, Brigade, too, has seen steady growth, with branches all over the world, and, above all, with the development of numerous systems aimed at implementing its mission: preventing incidents and saving lives.
The two companies, united by a focus on quality, innovation and the latest technologies, work together to ensure the maximum safety of the fire-fighting vehicles fitted out by BAI.
These vehicles are mostly supplied to the National Fire Brigade Corps and can be of various types , including forestry, municipal, airport, special, of which each industry has its own unique dimensions, characteristics and traction.
BAI’s skill is to be able to make the vehicles according to different needs, whether it is a single unit or a series of over 100 vehicles. A customisation that only a company with the structure of BAI can offer: a technical department of over 20 people, a network of reliable suppliers, including Brigade, and a deep knowledge of the market are the keys to BAI’s success. In addition to having always maintained production at its historical site in Bagnolo Mella, which today can equip up to 250 vehicles per year.
Moreover, there is a demand for multi-purpose vehicles, suitable for different uses. For example, airport vehicles that are built on commercial chassis so that they can also be used in city environments, where vehicles with greater capacity than purely municipal ones are sometimes required.
And equally increasingly, competitions require vehicle safety equipment that is higher than mandated.

Backsense® Radar
Connectable to Backeye®360, or even to the rear camera alone, is MDR, Brigade’s mobile digital video recording system that archives footage from the cameras, with numerous advantages: it is a reliable witness in the event of false claims and a deterrent against vandalism; it also encourages the driver to drive in a virtuous manner and, at the same time, protects him from any unfair accusations, thus becoming a trusted ally that allows him to move and operate in peace.
