On 29 and 30 May 2024 Fleet Magazine and the Top Thousand Observatory are promoting the first edition of Vertical Motor Day, two days dedicated to light commercial vehicles (LCVs), outfitted and special vehicles, telematics, and after-sales services. The event includes three workshops dedicated to the LCV world on topics of great interest: ‘The energy transition in everyday operations’ – ‘Technology equals safety and better work organization’ – ‘In the jungle of certifications and regulations’.
Vertical Motor Day was born out of the need to deepen and understand a market that is increasingly strategic for our country and in strong development compared to the pre-pandemic period. An opportunity to deepen and explore issues focused on energy transition and safety.
On the first Vertical Day, opening its doors to the world of commercial vehicles will be the CEPOLISPE – the Army’s Multifunctional Experimentation Centre, which on 30 May will host a static exhibition of light commercial vehicles, outfitted vehicles, and special vehicles. This is an area of about 350 hectares, with no less than 25 kilometers of test tracks, for complex tests. A huge area set up where the Army’s Engineer Officers can check the performance, safety, durability and reliability of vehicles and systems, also with tests to check the correct functioning of on-board equipment in extreme climates and the electromagnetic compatibility of the instruments of all the vehicles used by the Italian Army.
Brigade Electronics will participate in the event carrying out its Mission, namely, to provide innovative safety solutions for commercial vehicles and mobile machinery, preventing collisions and saving lives. The range of advanced safety equipment, including cutting-edge camera and sensor systems, provides comprehensive coverage around the vehicle, significantly reducing blind spots and protecting pedestrians, cyclists, and other vehicles.
