We had the pleasure of participating in the programme “Schaften with Virginie”. In which, TV presenter Virginie Claes sits down to talk about the latest machines, materials, and other innovations with people in the building and construction industry, particularly construction vehicle safety products.
Innovation in Construction Vehicle Safety Put to Practice
Our participation was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our latest system showcase: the Backeye®360 AI. This system is an innovative upgrade of the well-known Backeye®360 system and combines full visibility around the vehicle with advanced artificial intelligence (AI). Thanks to this AI technology the system can not only provide full visibility around the vehicle, but also detect people, significantly improving safety, and making it one of the most innovative construction vehicle safety products on the market.
During the filming, Virginie and Dirk van Schuylenbergh, our representative in Belgium, reviewed the system in detail at Veolia. Veolia, a leading player in waste management, uses our Backeye®360 AI system on their waste trucks. This provides an excellent practical example of how our system contributes to vehicles’ efficiency and safety in day-to-day operations.
Exploring the Benefits of Backeye®360 AI for Urban Safety
Virginie and Dirk took a closer look at how the system works. They discussed how the Backeye®360 AI not only helps the driver with a complete overview of the environment, but also instantly warns of pedestrians and other obstacles. This makes the system particularly valuable in urban environments where the risk of accidents is higher.
