What is an AI Connected Dashcam?
The AI Connected Dashcam is a compact, windscreen-mounted dual camera system that uses AI technology to provide event warnings, high-definition incident recording and monitor driver behaviour.
Using artificial intelligence, the forward-facing camera will identify and audibly alert a driver to a hazardous situation, such as a risk of colliding with the vehicle ahead or an unsignalled lane departure. With AI dashcams providing real-time audio alerts, the driver can take immediate action to prevent a potential incident.
The driver-facing camera will identify issues such as mobile use, smoking and inattention.
Alerts and video of events are sent to a remote dashboard in real-time which can prove invaluable for fleet managers. Reviewing in-cab footage and analyzing driving habits with an AI dashcam can identify high-risk situations and behaviours so that training programmes can be implemented to promote a safe driving culture and improve overall driver safety.
