Dust, dirt, mud and unpredictable weather can quickly reduce camera visibility on commercial vehicles and mobile plant. Brigade’s Elite AHD Shutter Camera is designed for demanding environments where a protected lens and reliable image quality matter.
The integrated shutter remains closed when the camera is not in use, helping protect the lens from debris. When reverse gear is engaged, the shutter opens automatically, giving the driver a live camera view when it is needed.

How Does the Elite AHD Shutter Camera Work?

The camera’s integrated shutter helps protect the lens when the system is not in use. This is particularly useful in harsh environments where dirt, dust and mud can affect camera visibility during daily operation.

When reverse gear is engaged, the shutter automatically opens so the driver can view the area behind the vehicle. Once reverse gear is disengaged, the shutter closes again to help protect the lens from debris.

The camera supports AHD 2.0 1080p image quality and can switch between AHD and CVBS using a built-in magnetic switch, helping fleets integrate the camera with compatible Brigade systems.
