What is a ADDW system?
Brigade’s Advanced Driver Distraction Warning (ADDW) System is designed to mitigate driver distraction and fatigue. Positioned inside the vehicle, the camera continuously monitors the driver’s face, eyes and head movement.
Built-in AI analyses the driver to detect signs of distraction & fatigue and will provide audible alerts to the driver.
Independently Tested
Brigade’s ADDW System has been independently tested to meet the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2019/2144 (ADDW).

When will the driver receive an alert?
Drowsiness
When the driver closes their eyes for a certain period.
Yawning
When the drivers yawns for 3 seconds twice within a specified timeframe.
*These alerts are only available with the MDSM-22 model.
Distraction*
When the driver looks outside of the warning range for a period of time.
No Seatbelt*
When the driver is not wearing a seatbelt.
Phone Use*
When the driver uses their mobile phone.
Smoking*
When the driver is smoking.
